With larger silicon-carbon batteries, faster processors, and TÜV
Rheinland-certified displays, the Xiaomi 17T Series is designed to keep
pace with a full, fast-moving day without becoming one more thing to
manage.
You’re halfway through telling your friend a story when your phone buzzes, a
client, asking if you can move the call up an hour. You fire back a yes
without breaking the conversation, drop the new time into your calendar, and
pick the story right back up. Ten seconds, no fuss. The day is already moving,
and you’re moving with it.
That’s the kind of day the Xiaomi 17T Series is built for. Co-engineered with
Leica and available now, it’s built around the parts of a phone people feel
most: battery life that lasts, performance that keeps up, a display made for
long screen time, and Leica-tuned cameras for the moments worth keeping. When
work, plans, messages, content, and downtime all move through one device, the
best phone is the one that keeps up without making itself the problem. (Note:
Launch units come with ₱21,699 in freebies, REDMI Watch 6 included.)
A battery built for long days
The Xiaomi 17T packs a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery. The 17T Pro goes
bigger, at 7000mAh. The point of that capacity is simple: less time managing
your percentage during a packed day. Calls, messages, edits, errands, and
evening plans shouldn’t all hinge on finding an outlet by mid-afternoon.
When you do need to charge, both phones help keep the pause short. The Xiaomi
17T supports 67W HyperCharge, while the 17T Pro adds 100W wired charging and
50W wireless charging with a compatible charger. That means charging can fit
into the small gaps of the day: between calls, before heading out, or while
getting ready for the next stop. Both models can also share power with
compatible devices through up to 22.5W wired reverse charging, useful when
earbuds or another small gadget needs a quick boost.
Performance with headroom
Your day isn’t one big task. It’s a hundred small ones running into each
other: a call, a document, a quick edit, a thread that needs a reply, a file
that needs to move before the next meeting. The Xiaomi 17T runs on MediaTek’s
Dimensity 8500-Ultra, built on a 4nm process. The 17T Pro steps up to the
newer Dimensity 9500 on 3nm. Both come with 12GB of RAM, with storage up to
512GB on the 17T and as high as 1TB on the Pro.
That combination supports smoother switching between apps and more room for
heavier mobile work. A creator cutting clips between meetings or a freelancer
managing several client threads needs a phone that can keep pace with the day,
not ask the day to slow down.
A display made for long screen time
If you spend hours looking at your phone, the screen matters. The Xiaomi 17T
has a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The 17T Pro goes to 6.83 inches at
144Hz. Both come with Xiaomi Vision Care and TÜV Rheinland certifications for
Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, Circadian Friendly, and Intelligent Eye Care.
In practice, these features are meant to support a more comfortable viewing
experience during extended screen time, whether you’re proofing a deck on the
commute, reviewing footage you just shot, or watching something before you
sleep. The fast refresh rate also helps keep scrolling and motion smooth,
making the phone easier to use across work and downtime.
Quiet help in the background
Both phones run Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and come with Xiaomi HyperAI tools that can
save time in small ways. AI Writing can sharpen a message before you send it.
AI Interpreter can help when you’re moving between languages. Circle to Search
with Google and Google Gemini are there for quick lookups when you don’t want
to stop what you’re doing. These aren’t the main event, but they add polish to
the daily experience.
Which one is for you
The Xiaomi 17T is the smart way into the series: strong battery life, a
capable processor, and an eye-care display in a more compact body. It starts
at ₱33,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro raises the ceiling with a bigger 144Hz display, the larger
7000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, wireless charging, and up to 1TB of
storage for users who shoot a lot of video or keep heavier work moving on the
go. It goes for ₱47,999 for the 12GB + 512GB.
Both also carry an IP68 rating for splash, water, and dust resistance under
specified laboratory conditions.
