Toyota Motor Philippines introduces popular crossover’s all-HEV lineup. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the new and improved version of the Philippines’ best-selling Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model to date - the Toyota Corolla Cross. Introduced in 2020 as TMP’s first hybrid electric crossover alongside its regular Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants, the new 2024 Corolla Cross now comes in an all-HEV lineup. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has reached a cumulative global production total of 300 million cars, Including production numbers for September 2023. This number was achieved 88 years and two months after Toyota's very first cars, the Model G1 truck, was produced by the Automotive Production Division of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, Ltd. (later Toyota Industries Corporation) in August 1935. It includes domestic and international production, with 180.52 million cars produced domestically, and 119.6 million produced abroad (as of end September 2023). Taking cues from the Dakar-winning GR Hilux, the New Hilux GR-S now comes with a tougher design through a wide-tread body, matte black GR-S overfenders, 17-inch alloy GR design wheels with All-Terrain Tires, and the GR Aero sports bar. The new Hilux GR-S is also wider by 120 mm and taller by 65 mm.
