2021 SYM Jet X 150 Maxi Scooter: Price, Specs, Features, Colors

SYM Taiwan, in collaboration with GPX Racing, launches the newest maxi-scooter in the market, the SYM Jet X 150 (a.k.a. GPX Drone 150) in Malaysia this April 2021. First released in Thailand, the 150cc scooter directly challenges the Yamaha NMax and the Honda PCX and ADV models.

The all-new 2021 SYM Jet X 150 comes with a 149.6 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, 2 valve, liquid cooling engine mated with a CVT transmission. Fuel is carried in a 7.5-litre tank and the under seat storage, with an 18-litre capacity, can hold a full-face helmet.

Features include a smart key system with alarm, full LED lighting system in the front and rear with hazard lights and a daytime running light. Other accessories include a smoked windshield, USB charging port and a full digital LCD meter.

Underneath, the 2021 SYM JET X 150 rolls on 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels with 100/90 tires in front and a 110/80 at the rear. Both wheels use hydraulic disc brakes under telescopic forks at the front and double shocks with three-step adjustable preload at the back.

It's not immediately known when the 2021 SYM Jet X 150 will be arriving in the Philippines, but looking back at SYM's track record in the country, I'm guessing it's likely to appear on our roads soon.

Special Keyless Midnight Blue Matte

The SYM Jet X 150's price is yet to be revealed, though it was sold in Thailand between 65,900 to 70,800 Bahts (roughly Php105,000 to 114,000). Colors available are Galaxy Black and Rosso Red for the standard base version; Rosso Red, Silver Gray and Racing Yellow for the Keyless variant; and a special color of Midnight Blue (Matte) for the range topper Keyless Special.
