VIDEO: 'Man of Steel' official movie trailer heats up this summer 2013


Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have just released the main trailer of Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman movie “Man of Steel.”

In the movie, Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by his super powers. Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions.

But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Clark must become Superman, not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

“Man of Steel” also stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni and Russell Crowe.

The film is produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer, from a story by Goyer and Nolan.
