A barefoot Imee Marcos shines on Philippine Tatler cover

So, is there really a Marcos who's not fond of shoes? Ilocos Norte Governor Maria Imelda Josefa "Imee" Marcos poses for the cover of the October 2015 cover of society magazine Philippine Tatler, wearing a very red terno gown -- and barefooted. The striking magazine photo is a complete turnaround from the image of her mother, former First Lady and currently Ilocos Norte 2nd District Rep. Imelda Marcos -- who, at one point in her life might have owned about 3,000 pair of shoes. Imee Marcos on Philippine Tatler cover The magazine cover also reveals her true age, which is 60 years old. Age really is just a number. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS POST? Share your ideas by commenting.

What we like about the new NIKE FLYKNIT AIRMAX

THERE'S a new footgear for runners who need full comfort and style every time they make the sprint -- the NIKE FLYKNIT AIRMAX of 2015. Nike is better known as one of the leaders in cushioning technologies, and has been using these as a vantage selling point for their shoes. In fact, they're the ones who pioneered the idea of taking away the foams and putting air bags inside the sole of a shoe – an innovation started by ex-aerospace engineers named Frank Rudy and Bob Bogert. REVIEW We usually rate our shoes in four criteria: First thing to consider is the weight. Nobody wants to carry a load-ful of rubber on his feet. Though the Air Max technology in  the Nike Flyknit Air Max is expected to be heavy due to the large air cushioning unit that covers the full length of the underfoot, it has the lightest uppers known in the market -- the Flyknit woven uppers. These shoes are not only for running, they're also perfect for traveling and daily training. Beauty and fo...

MOVIE TRAILER: Yves Saint Laurent biopic

The Yves Saint Laurent film directed by Jalil Lespert recounts the turbulent life of one of the most famous French couturiers, whose work was heavily influenced by his personal life.  The trailer begins in 1957 as Yves Saint Laurent, played to perfection by Pierre Niney, is named head of design at Dior. Documenting the designer's inspirations, his relationship with Pierre Bergé - his partner in both life and business - and the Ballet Russes runway show in 1976, the film retraces the history of one of the most successful couturiers from the first sketches to the final fittings on the models, played amongst others by Charlotte Le Bon. The film, due out in France in early 2014, has been endorsed by Pierre Bergé, the co-founder of Yves Saint Laurent's eponymous fashion house, longtime business partner and former life partner of the Algeria-born design star. The film focuses greatly on their romantic relationship. Saint Laurent passed away in June 2008 of brain cancer at...
