In Summer 2024, AirAsia Philippines flew around 2 million passengers, a number expected to grow this year as the airline continues to roll out exciting deals and travel promotions.

“At AirAsia, we're constantly seeking innovative ways to provide exceptional value to everyone. Beyond our renowned P1SO fares, we leverage strategic partnerships, such as our collaboration with BPI, to democratize access to meaningful travel journeys---creating more opportunities for Filipinos, whether they are exploring on their own, expanding business horizons, or going to their dream destinations,” AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head, First Officer Steve Dailisan shares.

To make the most of these deals, passengers are encouraged to plan ahead, including understanding AirAsia’s baggage policies to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.

Baggage Policy

Passengers (except infants) can bring two small bags on board, such as a cabin bag, laptop bag, or handbag, with a total weight limit of 7 kg. The cabin bag should be no larger than 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm, and the small bag should not exceed 30 cm x 40 cm x 10 cm. Both must fit under the seat or in the overhead bin. If your unchecked baggage exceeds the 7 kg limit, you may purchase additional weight allowance in advance to avoid higher fees at the airport.

For checked baggage, passengers can buy one checked bag per booking, with a total weight limit of 60 kg. However, no single bag can weigh more than 32 kg for safety reasons.

10 Big Reasons To Buy A Small Car (What Are The 5 Best Compact Cars)

It used to be the bigger the better in Metro Manila, but nowadays fuel economy, easy parking and the ability to glide through the Edsa traffic are key features to look for. With rising gasoline prices and the current traffic gridlocks in the city, many car drivers are considering changing at least one of their vehicles to something smaller that will provide better gas mileage and road maneuverability. This is especially true if the driver has a long commute to work. Smaller cars, often referred to as subcompact cars, now gets you on the high ground. How many times have you find it hard to fit into a tiny parking space? In Metro Manila, the first and most obvious problem is parking space, may it be at home, at the mall or on the streets. What the LTO says about changing mag wheels, rims and tires of your car, motorcycle

The new LTO PMVIC, or the Land Transportation Office - Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Centers, has started operations in some parts of the country for inspections of cars and motorcycles due for registration renewal. Dubbed as MVIS (Motor Vehicle Inspection System), it aims to test the roadworthiness of private and commercial vehicles prior to their registration. This also includes the checking of modifications, upgrades and accessories that have been installed on your vehicles - whether factory or aftermarket. If they don't meet LTO standards, you fail the test. Failing the MVIS test means you have to retake the inspection and worse, you can't register your vehicle any more. For purposes of discussion, I chose to talk about wheels and tires because they are the most frequently modified parts of our cars and motorcycles. Now comes the question: Is it considered illegal to replace your wheels with aftermarket mag wheels? Can those u...
