PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the arrested suspect as Rodolfo Quizon III, 29.

According to a report from Manila Bulletin, Quizon was arrested Thursday inside his home at Block 2, Lot 3, Barangay Palasan, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Also arrested was Jayar Salac, 28, who was present inside the house during the operation.

Operatives of PDEA Regional Office 4A (PDEA RO4A) under Director Jeffrey Bangsa conducted the operation using a search warrant issued by a court.

During the search, eight grams of marijuana and 16 tablets of Valium, a regulated drug, and various drug paraphernalia were found inside the house.

The PDEA cited that Quizon has been known engaged in illegal drug activities and has been placed in the Agency's watch list.

Quizon and Salac are now facing charges for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
