Police found a dead woman's body inside the the compartment of her own car in North Caloocan on Wednesday.
Reports said that the Honda Civic car (CTF-103) was parked unattended in a neighborhood since Tuesday morning, and when residents observed foul odor coming from it, they immediately called for police assistance.
It was then that police authorities discovered a body of a woman inside the Honda's compartment.
Police Chief Inspector Ronald Perilla of the North Caloocan Police said, "Vinerify namin na patay yung babae sa likod ng compartment... Nakadaster, walang bra, nakatali ang kamay sa likod, nakatalukbong ng plastik ang ulo na galing sa bahay talaga,” (We verified the woman is already dead. She was wearing house clothes without bra, and her hands were tied in her back. Her head was covered with a plastic bag.)
Investigators were not able to identify the victim until the husband, one Jorge Jose Jorge came and said she was her wife, Marilou Jorge y Manapat, 49, retired employee and a resident of Blk 10 Lot 7, Phase 4, North Matrix Ville, Camarin, Caloocan City.
"Umalis daw yung lalaki nung Martes ng 5:30 ng umaga papasok ng trabaho. Yung kotse at asawa niya iniwan sa bahay kasama ng bunsong anak na 16 year old. Pagbalik niya wala na ang asawa niya hanggang kinabukasan, kinokontak daw niya wala na,” said Perilla. (The husband left early at 5:30 a.m. to go to work, leaving behind his wife, 16-year-old daughter and the car at home. When he returned later, her wife was already missing. He tried to contact her but to no avail.)
The car was found in a basketball court in North Matrix Ville about four blocks away from the victim's house.

The victim bore bruises in the head and face.
Police investigators are still conducting their investigation as to the identity of the suspects and their motive. They believe there could be more than one suspect who carried out the crime.
